It was first broadcast in 1993. ==Plot== Neville Grimshaw, an investigative journalist, is found shot dead. Opera diva Gwladys Probert (Sheila Gish), is shot by a sniper during an academic procession which is witnessed by Morse and Sergeant Lewis. Morse and Lewis discover that Grimshaw was investigating Andrew Baydon (Robert Hardy), a prospective major benefactor of the college. As the investigation unfolds the two shootings are found to be related. Baydon (real name Anders Bagdonas), a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, is revealed as a collaborator and guard. He ordered the killing of Grimshaw.
